Colorado. Dog. The words go together like a hipster and a Helga, the History Channel and footage from Hitler’s speech at the 1927 Nuremburg Rally or a man and, well, his dog. The backstory on man and dog goes into prehistory, and dogs have probably been in Colorado longer than anyone can remember.

Living in Colorado can be too hot, and too cold, and too snowy, and even just too dark. But despite those moments (and they are just moments), Colorado is beautiful above all. Something will stop you for a moment nearly every day here.

On Saturday, October 23, 2010, the Zombie Crawl in Denver attracted more than 7,300 people and broke its own 2009 record for attendance, solidifying Denver once more as the most zombified city in the U.S.
