Umbrella Corporation agents arrived in a futile attempt to turn the tide in the fight against waves of living dead massing in central . This shock trooper surveys the scene before 's 2010 Zombie Crawl.

On Saturday, October 23, 2010, the Zombie Crawl in Denver attracted more than 7,300 people and broke its own 2009 record for attendance, solidifying Denver once more as the most zombified city in the U.S.

Photos were taken on a Canon 30D, 135mm at f/2.0, ISO-100. Post processing for the photo above went beyond the usual saturation and white balance correction, including fairly major hue changes, de-saturation and texture adjustments. For the photo below, slight saturation and white balance adjustments only.

Northglenn, Colorado, resident Cindy Burbridge Schenck as a zombie for Denver's 2010 Zombie Crawl. Thousands of people chased willing victims through the streets and ended the day covered in gore. Denver's 16th Street Mall was also in need of a cleaning the next morning.

For those interested, I posted about 30 photos to Flickr. These were all taken on the 30d with the 135 at f/2.0 or f/2.8, the 50mm at f/1.4 or f/2.0, and one or two might have been with a 28mm at f/2.8. Photoshop work included white balance, saturation, and not much else.
